4th INTERNATIONAL OF ITALY
Trieste, 8th – 9th february 2014
A great promotional event, created purposely for all clubs (all Federations). An exclusive experience, where there are no federal distinctions and where everybody can compete at the highest level.
This year will be held in Trieste (near Venice), a beautiful and historical City. This will be one more ingredient to this unforgettable experience.

PARTICIPATION:
All Clubs and sport Associations can participate with an unlimited number of athletes. Athletes can be registered to any national or international federation and association coming from all Countries and training any karate style. The tournament is open to all and sundry. All competitors, under the President’s responsibility of their club/association, must have regular sanitary certifications according to the lows in force in their own Country and they must be covered by their own insurance. On request the athletes must show a valid identity document and the federal membership card (certifying the grade owned).

INDIVIDUAL KATA COMPETITION
Competition will take place with the division of participants according to their style, that are the following:
SHOTOKAN, WADO RYU, SHITO RYU, GOJU RYU, SHORIN RYU. Kata competitors can register in one style
only.
All participants, besides the style and above-mentioned classes of age, will be also divided into male and female categories and will compete into the following grade categories: a) White, Yellow and Orange Belts; b) Green and Blue
Belts; c) Brown and Black Belts.
INDIVIDUAL KUMITE COMPETITION
All participants must be equipped with their own regulation safeties (according to the competition rules that they have chosen). Competition will take place with three different rules: Shonu Nihon (only for childrens categories), Shobu Sanbon and Shobu Ippon.
Kumite competitors could can register in Shobu Sanbon or Shobu Ippon not both. The choice of rules must be specified in registration form.
All participants will compete divided into the below classes of age and grade subdivisions (Shobu Sanbon, two groups: up to Blue Belts; Brown and Black Belts. Shobu Nihon, two groups: up to Green Belts; Blue, Brown and Black Belts.

Kumite weigh-in: athletes participating in the kumite competition must be at the Sport Hall for the weigh-in one hour before competition starts.
Coach: only a coach for each club can enter the competition area. He has to wear the federal uniform and gym shoes (in the absence of those requirements the coach will have to leave the area).
All participants in Shobu Nihon must be equipped with their own regulation safeties, included helmets and body protector.
KATA TEAM
The kata competition for team is multistyle. The team will be composed by 3 athletes of all belts, for this categories:
– CHILDRENS (with athletes Childrens C and D)
– CADETS (with athletes Cadets A and B)
– JUNIORS (with athletes Juniors only)
– SENIORS (with athletes Juniors and Seniors)
GENERAL RULES
All competitors, under the President’s responsibility of their club/association, must have regular sanitary certifications according to the lows in force in their own Country and they must be covered by their own insurance.
On request the athletes must show a valid identity document and the federal membership card (certifying the grade owned). If during the competitions some categories will have a poor number of athletes registered (less than four) the Organizing Committee will unquestionably arrange the passage of these athletes to the closer category.
The organizing committee declines all responsibilities for any accident in which people or things may incur before, during and after the event.
When Sports Clubs register their athletes, they take upon themselves the responsibility that their own athletes are in conformity to the health certificates and everything provided in the present regulations.

AWARDS CEREMONY
The first three classified athletes of each category and each competition will be awarded. All participants will receive a gadget of participation, as well as the first three clubs in kata (with different final results for every style) and the first three clubs in kumite (with different final results for every rules).

Registration Individual competition fee is euros 15,00 for athlete and per speciality. For Team Kata competition the fee is euros 30,00 per team. Foreign Clubs will pay registration fees directly on the sport hall at their arrival before competitions start.
